New Years Recap

So we had a wild night for New Years Eve! We put Brayden to bed, and Greg and Laurel came over and we played Partini and Apples to Apples. We actually had a great time, and are thankful for friends that don't mind staying in and playing games.

New Years Day Drew and I went to see a early movie, and then we headed to Cinci to stay with Blake, Lauren, and Caleb for the night. Caleb was so good sharing his toys, and Brayden was enthralled with all the big trucks. It is always good to see them, and we played games as well and headed home the next day.

Some big events that happened in 2009:
My cousin Whitney got married; Over spring break we went to Owensboro to see Lynsie and Robert and sweet Emmie Kate for the first time; I started grad school; Drew and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary and went to the Melting Pot; my great grandma Gran passed away; I went to Gatlinburg with Brayden, my parents, and sisters for a few days; we had Brayden's first birthday extravaganza; we vacationed in Myrtle Beach for a week with Blake, Lauren, and Caleb; Drew and I traveled to Chicago to visit his sister with his parents; Drew got a job promotion at work!; Megan got engaged!; we found out we were expecting baby number 2!; I took a trip to Gatlinburg with three girls I teach with while Brayden stayed home with Drew and had a great time shopping and eating; celebrated my 26th birthday; had holidays with my family; found out baby #2 was a boy

Some big things coming in 2010:
2 grad classes for me starting in a few weeks; Keaton Micah in April; Megan and Garrett's wedding in May; some friends having babies later in the summer :)

I just thank God that I have such a blessed life, and that I enjoy every bit of this coming year!

You are right, we are both blessed! Life continues to bring great joy in spite of the sorrows of losing loved ones.
So glad that we are still friends despite the distance and crazy schedules. The next year should be just as memorable as our babies become big brothers!
